BOTULINUM (VISTABEX) |
 |
The efficacy of the botulinum toxin (Botox) in the cosmetic field has led to describe it as "the new wonder drug" of rejuvenation, with which it can be reached the "chemical" lifting almost immediately, completely reversible, with no systemic complications or possibility of side effects of local and transitory nature, economically accessible and it allows an immediate resumption of
daily activities.
Botulinum toxin acts on small wrinkles, eliminating the main cause: it reduces the strength and continuity of the muscles responsible for wrinkling of facial lines. Especially effective for frown lines, wrinkles and the lines between the eyebrows area and the “crows feet", it provides a facial anti-aging shaping with a lifting effect, which will be visible from the 2nd – 5th day from the treatment. The maximum effect is reached after two weeks, it lasts 3 - 4 months, after which the muscle activity is recovered gradually.
The botulinum toxin plays an irreplaceable role in the treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating and invalidating that affects mostly armpits, hands or feet). It inhibits the secretion of sweat starting from the 3rd - 5th day after having taken it, it reaches its maximum peak on about the fifteenth day and has a duration of action of about 8 months.
Botulinum toxin is also a good alternative for the treatment of vaginismus.
Contraindications to treatment with Botulinum toxin:
- hypersensitivity to the product and/or constituents, human albumin, sodium chloride;
- generalized disorders of muscle activity (as myasthenia gravis, Eaton-Lambert syndrome);
- patients treated with certain antibiotics
(aminoglycosides, spectinomycin), calcium channel blockers;
- presence of inflammatory and / or infectious processes in injection sites;
- pregnancy and lactation;
- severe coagulopathies and/or coagulation disorders induced by drugs.
Side effects: after treatment there can be edema, erythema, bruising, which disappear spontaneously or with appropriate medical treatment. Rarely there may be a lowering of ptosis or upper eyelid, which lasts 3-4 weeks and therefore reversible.
FILLER AND REMODELING OF CHEEKS AND LIPS |
 |
The filler materials have a natural or synthetic origin which through a very thin needle, are injected into the skin of the face, usually at dermal level, in order to fill and support the furrows
responsible for the appearance of wrinkles or for implementing a defined area of the body (usually the face), to redraw the same area mainly for aesthetic purpose.
We only use high quality absorbable fillers , made from injectable materials biologically compatible such as hyaluronic acid. They are normally absorbed (more or less rapidly) without leaving any residue or undesired effects due to foreign bodies.
Usually they do not have side effects and any possible effect (edema, erythema, bruising, small thickening) disappears spontaneously or with appropriate medical treatment.
We use various techniques that depend on the treated area and the desired result.
The filler can correct the following imperfections:
- forehead wrinkles
- periocular wrinkles
- nose-labial furrows
- wrinkles of the labial area
- wrinkles in the chin and cheek area
- depression of the malar area
- cheekbones contouring
- remodeling and/or increase in volume of the lips
It is also possible:
- vaginal rejuvenation
- "G Spot" strengthening
Contraindications:
- allergic diathesis or autoimmune disease;
- pregnancy and lactation;
- dermatological diseases (active acne, herpetic or bacterial dermatitis, susceptibility to keloidal reactions or hypertrophic scarring);
- coagulation diseases and/or coagulation disorders due to the use of drugs.
BIOREVITALIZATION |
 |
It is an injection technique aiming at preventing and correcting the damages caused by physiological aging and/or photoinduced. It works by counteracting the progressive depletion of hyaluronic acid that occurs in the skin over the years.
It is normally present in the dermis, hyaluronic acid is responsible for the proper functioning of the
microcirculation and normal hydration of the skin.
Improving elasticity and firmness of the skin tissue, it makes the skin brighter and tighter, with a
reduced evidence of minor lines; it fights the action of free radicals.
The purpose is not the filling of wrinkles, but to improve the appearance of the skin. The success of biorevitalization depends on the age of the patient and the pre-existing skin condition:
the better will be the initial conditions of the skin and the more the intervention will be of preventive nature, the better will be the results obtained.
We can associate the biorevitalization to a filler and peeling treatments as part of a multidisciplinary skin rejuvenation programme.
It uses a hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight, which is injected into various areas of the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
The application protocol provides an average of 2 sessions every 15 days, then 2 sessions once a month and then 1 session every 2 or 3 months.
Contraindications:
- allergic diathesis or autoimmune disease
- pregnancy and lactation
- dermatological (active acne, herpetic or bacterial dermatitis, susceptibility to keloidal reactions or hypertrophic scarring)
- coagulation diseases and/or coagulation disorders due to the use of drugs
Side effects:
after the treatment edema, erythema, bruising can appear that will spontaneously disappear or with appropriate medical treatment.
SKIN BIOSTIMULATION |
 |
The treatment is based on the stimulation of endogenous collagen production, elastic fibers and all the key components of the skin, through microinjections of products capable of stimulating
dermal cells in the synthesis of these connective tissue components, providing the tone and firmness of the skin, maintaining the skin structure and improving the hydration.
The protocol requires 7-10 treatments every week followed by maintenance treatment carried out every two or three months.
CARBOXY THERAPY |
 |
Subcutaneously use of carbon dioxide for therapeutic purposes in a gaseous state.
The carboxy therapy, by causing vasodilation and activation of the capillary blood circulation, improves the blood flow and skin metabolism, increasing tissue oxygenation, it helps to effectively fight cellulite thanks to the lipolytic paraphysiological effect (a functional microcirculation is an essential condition in order a lipolytic therapy can give clinical effects). The carboxy therapy is also used as anti-aging: it has a mild lifting effect, acting against the eye bags, wrinkles and the so-called "crows feet". Its action on the skin structure provides a more toned and compact aspect.
APPLICATION FIELDS:
- localized fat
- cellulite
- skin laxity
- rejuvenation of face, neck, décolleté, hands
- psoriasis
- venous insufficiency
- peripheral artereopathy
- Raynaud's phenomenon
- Buerger's disease
- acrocyanosis
- alopecia
- treatment of skin ulcers, difficult sores and wounds
- male sexual impotence
The duration of treatment lasts on average 15-20 minutes and the return to normal activities is immediate.
The frequency of sessions is usually once or twice a week and the number of sessions that usually includes a cycle of treatment is of 12-15.
There is no toxicity. The CO2 is a normal cellular metabolite and we can for this reason call it a NATURAL MEDICINE.
The carboxy therapy treatment can be combined with other treatments, in order to obtain the best final result and under the prescription of your cosmetic doctor. In these cases the carboxy therapy can improve the effects.
Side effects are a small local tenderness, transient, small bruises, sometimes feeling of heavy limb and mild subcutaneous rattling.
PEELING |
 |
The chemical peeling is an accelerated form of exfoliation which is provided by using chemical substances.
It provides the removal of the stratum corneum of the skin and the keratin cap of comedones increases the cell renewal, it provides a moderate lightening effect, inhibits the activity of the sebaceous glands.
The purpose of the treatment is to smooth and improve the skin appearance, by removing the most damaged outer layers.
The passing of time and the continued exposure to sunlight lead to a general aging of the skin, particularly of the face, which looks more opaque, less elastic and crossed by small wrinkles. An unbalanced diet, stress and smoking tend to accelerate this aging process. The surface epithelium becomes thicker because it increases the size of its stratum corneum, constituted by dead cells imbricate each other. The germinal epithelium layer reduces its metabolic capacity, extending the life of its cells, in this way they become even older.
The skin becomes depleted of water and of elastic fibers, becoming instead thinner and poorer of intercellular substance.
The chemical peelings allow to obtain a younger skin, without affecting social life.
The repetition of sessions allows to change the duration, type and place of application of the acids, according to the results obtained progressively.
The chemical peelings can be classified according to their ability to penetrate into the skin and to the subsequent action in depth: superficial, medium and deep.
The level of depth depends on the type of substance used, its concentration and time of application.
The greater is the depth reached the more evident will be the result that can be expected.
INDICATIONS for a chemical peeling: wrinkles, skin aging, scars, skin laxity, hyperpigmentation (skin patches), acne in the acute phase and acne scars, circumscribed hyperkeratosis.
The peelings can be applied on the face, neck, décolleté, hands and chest.
In rare cases they may occur complications such as postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, infections, scarring.
In order to avoid these complications it is necessary to always follow all the instructions that you will be given by the doctor who has performed the treatment.
During the post-peeling period it is absolutely essential to protect yourself completely from the sun and solar radiation and UVA-UVB lamps for at least two months after the application of a peeling with products that contain sunscreens and protective sun filters.
MESOTHERAPY (Homotoxicology District Intradermotherapy) |
 |
Cellulite is a disorder that affects the hypodermis, a tissue that lies beneath the skin, having predominantly a fat nature. It is caused by the degeneration of the microcirculation of the adipose tissue with consequent alteration of its most important metabolic functions.
Hips, buttocks and thighs are the most common location of cellulite.
Among the causes of cellulite there are: fat excess, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle, stress, hormonal problems, healthy lifestyle (smoking, drinking too much coffee or spirits, do not respect the physiological shift for sleeping, wear clothes that impede movement as pantyhose, high heels or tight pants, taking drugs with no real need and too often).
All this can lead to the disease in question.
Circulatory disorders, low physiological activity of the excretory, hormonal problems, psycho-emotional stress, sedentary lifestyle, dietary mistakes, abuse of drugs, etc.. can lead to the accumulation of toxins in the connective tissue; therefore resulting in a change of the composition and also of the structure of this tissue and hence the formation of the so-called cellulite.
Effective mesotherapy treatment for intervening on the connective tissue drainage and fluid retention consists in the subcutaneous and/or intradermal injection of homeopathic and antihomotoxic preparations.
The protocol generally involves a series of 10 sessions and repetitions of 8-10 sessions, 1 or 2 times a year.
ULTRASOUND HYDROLIPOCLASIA |
 |
It is a method used in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of localized fat by ultrasound. The ultrasounds can be considered elastic vibrations that in adipose tissue have a lipoclasic action, which is the rupture of fat cells with release of their triglyceride content. The area of localized fat deposits to be treated is injected with saline. Then it follows the application of ultrasounds at a frequency of 3 MHz
Frequency of treatment
To allow the complete removal of triglycerides released by fat cells it is recommended to have a rest period between the sessions of 15-20 days.
The ultrasound hydrolipoclasia is contraindicated in the presence of metal fixation and metal joint replacements, in cases of acute inflammatory processes, tumors, skin lesions near the spinal cord, near the cardiac area (for interference with cardiac conduction), near a pacemaker, a neurostimulator, near a pregnant uterus.
Side effects are minimal. There may be a slight edema (it may lasts 7-15 days), bruising.
NUTRITION AND PROTEIN DIET |
 |
Overweight and obesity are a major risk factor for metabolic diseases (heart attack, hypertension, stroke and diabetes); they are also a source of aesthetic and psychological distress in social life and interpersonal relationships.
Losing weight with traditional diets, however, is a difficult task: the weight loss occurs very slowly, it is necessary to weigh all foods; it is impossible to follow the dietary rules if you are away from home.
In short, you lose the constancy and motivation, quickly regaining the few kilos lost.
Fortunately, there is a revolutionary nutritional approach, developed by Prof. Blackburn of Harvard University (USA) in the 70s, which allows a rapid weight loss (you can lose 7 to 9 kg per month!), it is not dangerous because based strictly on scientific grounds and followed carefully by your doctor.
This is the normal protein diet or better a complete diet programme: from the loss of weight to a balanced diet.
Its principle is simple: the consumption of protein of high biological quality allows you to protect the lean body mass (muscle, bone, skin, organs) and forces the body to use fat as its source of energy to reshape the body silhouette, eliminate cellulite, etc..
When followed by a period of controlled transition it allows to maintain for a medium and long time the important results achieved, as well as re-educating yourself to a healthy, varied and complete nutrition: the nutrition balance.
The benefits of protein diet:
- rapid weight loss, only in respect of stored fat (about 2 kg per week or about 8 to 10 kg per month)
- absence of hunger and fatigue,
- simplicity (easy to do even when you are away from home)
A proper nutrition, physical activity, healthy lifestyle help to keep you in good shape and control your stress!
REJUVENATION PROGRAMME |
 |
The skin aging is a natural and unstoppable process, which depends on the age of the individual and external factors such as sunlight, pollution, stress, lifestyle (smoking, chemicals, diet, physical activity, sleep, etc...)
Cosmetic medicine can prevent and slow down these processes and reduce the already existing blemishes.
The best results are achieved by implementing a structured and constant programme, characterized by specific interventions supported by a healthy lifestyle and appropriate use of cosmetic products under the supervision of the doctor who will indicate the best solutions for each individual.
Interventions such as fillers or Botox allow to have immediate results. While chemical peeling, biorivilitalizatopm, biostimulation, carboxy therapy are part of a more complete programme of comprehensive skin rejuvenation and stimulate a process of natural renewal.
A proper programme includes:
- Skin hygiene.
- Use of appropriate cosmetics.
- Chemical peeling, which increases cell renewal, giving a younger appearance to the skin.
- Sunscreen
It is known that sun exposure contributes significantly to skin aging, it is therefore necessary to prevent the effect of sun rays that
deplete the skin of natural moisturisers with suitable photo protection combined with biorevitalization and biostimulation treatments.
- tress-control and use of antioxidants.
- Carboxy therapy, which reactivates the microcirculation, increases tissue oxygenation, stimulating the cells to the production of natural
moisturisers.
Residues imperfections can be corrected through treatments with fillers and Botox.
CELLULITE |

Cellulite treatment shall include:
- Microvascular circulation reactivation
- Drainage of tissue
- Lipolysis
- Hormonal corrections
- Specific diet or nutrition correction
- Physical activity
These effects can be achieved with the following treatments:
- Carboxy therapy (it improves microvascular circulation, lipolysis)
- Mesotherapy (drainage of tissues)
- Lymphatic drainage massage
- Ultrasonic hydrolipoclasia (lipoclasia - breakdown of fat cells)
- Protein diet (lipolysis)
The combination of various treatments help to reach the best results. |
